The last two seasons of Sunny were way way under par for me. I am looking forward to the new season, along with three bonus episodes of Archer.

Seasons 5 and 6 of Sunny were lightyears ahead of the shit that was season 4. "The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis" and "The Nightman Cometh" were the only highlights for me. The lowest point of the series is "Who Pooped the Bed?"

I rewatched every episode of Sunny over the course of the summer, and I have a hard time judging it by season. I feel it stayed remarkably consistent. Every season has a few episodes that fall flat for me, but none really any more than others.

As for tonight's episode, I haven't quite wrapped my mind around it yet. It was all over the place and felt a little over-the-top, even for this show, but I still laughed throughout the entire thing, (including a full-on belly laugh from the limo scene). I just hope the rest of the season is a little more grounded.

It was a pretty awesome season premiere. The limo scene made my jaw drop because it was so damn unexpected. I laughed my ass off once I rewatched that scene again, though.

The last season of Entourage was kinda boring, in fact the 4 last seasons of Entourage kinda sucked.

Worst was that Ari Gold was depressed most of the season, and he was the whole reason I was still watching the show. Ari Gold is pure pwnage and should never be down!

The very last scene made me laugh though.

P.S. If anybody notices a show that is remotely realistic as The Wire, please tell me. They could have contimued several other seasons while exploring other aspects of the city.

Check out Treme if you haven't.

I started watching it not that long ago and haven't finished the first season yet, but it's by the same people that did the Wire. It doesn't feel quite as focused but it's still almost as good.

I've recently gone through the first three seasons of Breaking Bad. The first was passable, but pushing it. When Jesse and/or the meth wasn't onscreen, the show tended to lag. I wasn't impressed by Walt's family other than his brother-in-law, and Walt himself wasn't a very interesting guy in his "normal life". Yes, yes, he's distracted while teaching chemistry. Can we get back to the meth now? The acting (particularly Aaron Paul's) kept me watching long enough for it to pick up at the end.

Season two was a major improvement. More meth-related suspense, less boring family stuff. The show found its rhythm, and Walt came into his own as a character. He went from being kind of dull to pretty despicable, while I found myself sympathizing with Jesse. Very good season.

Season three was a step back, but still better than the first one. It took a while to really get going, and the Mexican brothers felt out of place, but it ended well.

Currently playing: Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, Picross DS
Last played: Time Hollow (good)
Last watched: Agent Carter (very good)

Too bad we probably won't be seeing more Torchwood. I would've enjoyed some more Rex Matheson and Jilly Kissinger.
What makes you say that? The way they finished the episode made it seem to me they already had plans for another season.

The ratings haven't exactly been stellar for Starz.

As bad as Miracle Day was, I wouldn't be too broken up if there wasn't more Torchwood coming.

I tried like hell to like it, but the writers seemed to do everything in their power to ruin its potential.

Although I would like to see more of Jack and Angelo's 1920s adventures. That was probably the best thing about the season.

Yesterday morning I had no idea Glee had premiered this week, which tells you something. Having seen it now: One or two potentially good storylines for the season, mixed in with a bunch of ridiculousness, in other words business as usual. The main effect was successfully getting You Can't Stop the Beat stuck in my head all day.

Community and Parks and Recreation are back! OMAR COMIN'.

...also Whitney. Aren't you guys SO EXCITED for this show that's been promoted ALL SUMMER? I know I laughed at that hoodie joke EVERY SINGLE ONE of the MILLION TIMES they showed it.
