I couldn't get into Wilfred, a comedy series starting with an attempted sucide didn't put in the right frame of mind. Tried to watch a few episode, but it just seemed to revolve around the dog getting him into trouble, which I didn't find funny.

Great men aren't everywhere, just where it counts.

If you ever see me online playing Halo, join me please.

Glee : The Darren Criss Show.
The gratuitous solos are a little ridiculous.

Person of Interest is fun, especially in that Jim Casawhatever has a generally creepy vibe that I don't think he knows about, which makes Ben Linus seem LESS creepy.

I wasn't too impressed with Terra Nova at first, mainly because it didn't make any damn sense.

SPOILERS

When the family was hiding Zoe in the air duct and making a big deal about it, I figured that the government's policy was to kill children. The family gets to keep her, though, and the dad goes to prison for 83 million years for assaulting the officers while the mother gets off scot-free. So having a third child isn't that big of a deal, then?

This is only confirmed when the son says that you can be punished with just a fine. Those dystopian fascists, fining people for crimes that threaten humanity's future. "Here, Zoe, Mommy and Daddy are going to hide you in the air duct and traumatize you to get out of a speeding ticket." Although if 83 million years is what passed for a prison sentence in this time period, maybe the fine would be eleventy billion dollars.

It gets even worse when prehistoric leader guy asks the dad why they had a third child, and he says that it seemed like a good idea. Up until then, I just assumed that Zoe was an accident, and they didn't want to give her up. Instead, they chose to bring a third child into an overpopulated world with poisonous air, where they would have to hide her in their cramped apartment and put her in the air duct any time they have company over. Even if the police hadn't caught on, what was their plan? She could never go to school. She could never have a social security number. "Sorry, Honey, we would let you be a legally recognized member of society, but there's a fine and all. So you'll just have to hide in our apartment for the rest of your life."

/SPOILER

Things picked up after that, though, with the dinosaurs and the hot girls and the guns. It could definitely be an entertaining show, but the less they try to make a credible future society, the better.

Yes, what of it?

Did anyone catch that new show "Revenge" on ABC? I missed the second episode, but the what I saw of the first one shows potential.

I got around to the New Girl pilot. I'm not sold on it yet. There were certain funny/amusing parts, like Dirty Dancing 6-7 times a day, but so far it's the sort of comedy where I get impatient when it stops being funny.

I'm really liking Prime Suspect, but I don't think it's long for this world. It's sorta generic, even where it's not really generic.

When the first episode of this seasons Harry's Law aired, I didn't really like it, but gave it another episode in order to decide if I should drop it.

Then the second episode happened, and everything was good again. Of course, Doc Ock should really stop commiting these crimes of passion, already.

I'm enjoying Person of Interest but CBS website is actively trying to keep me from watching it legally through their means. I've had to reload it three times and every time I have to sit through three ads at the start and three more when I click ahead to where I was, and sometimes the adds are 1:30 to 2:00 long, and sometimes they crash. Annoyingly this is the third CBS show I'm trying to watch on CBS.com and none of them are any better, interface quality wise.

Community was fun, even if it reinforced everything I hate about Britta. Her scenes with Chang were awesome, though. All because of Chang.

I loved the teacher in the episode.

I forgot to mention, Parks and Rec last night was incredible. I haven't laughed that hard at a TV show in... well, it was last season of Community so technically not that long ago, but still.

Holy shit. Louie might be the funniest thing on television right now.

"Of Christ's twelve Apostles Judas alone proved to be traitor. But if he had acquired power, he would have represented the other eleven Apostles as traitors, and also all the lesser Apostles whom Luke numbers as seventy." - Leon Trotsky

I have a blog. This is its URL. You should read it. It's about education and skepticism and books and it has a lot of pictures of Batman and Robin in it: https://baldermoon.wordpress.com/

Ya, it has a few moments, but it's just not that great. The concept has some promise, but the delivery doesn't catch my fancy. I mean, why isn't anyone questioning that there is a guy talking to a dog all the time. Which, there is certainly a real dog it seems, and it's not just a voice in his head. It seems like to me a bad version of Scrubs. All the internal monologue and ridiculous plot, no good placement of it.
