You have given me more than enough, thank you guys <3

Zubis, yep, I just wanted to read something featuring people doing things a bit more modern, to see how it feels like.
What I have read so far from Clarke really didn't need to be modern I think (Rendevous with Rama and Childhood's End) but still.

Crono
Crono can cross dimensions too!

I finished No Country For Old Men a few days ago.  As much as I love the movie it was worth the read.  The movie did a great job with the symbolism but of course the book hit it a little more on the head.  It's a very interesting writing style too.

Currently Playing: Dark Cloud 2: 3 hours.
Also Playing: CT, FF VI, Solatorobo, Secret of Mana, Halo 4.
Just Finished: Fable II: 7 hours.

Been slowly reading Lexicon by Max Barry, which is pretty fun, though not quite "can't put it down" fun since I keep putting it down every few chapters. Still, I'm enjoying it. Also started Bust by Ken Bruen and Jason Starr, which I'm not far into but I really love the writing style.

Atma Weapon
I Am Pure Energy

I picked up a digital copy of Thomas Piketty's "Capital in the 21st Century". Can't wait to sink my teeth into it.

Atma Weapon
I Am Pure Energy

I read the introduction, which was a full 5% of the book. It is transparent and to-the-point, like a good abstract. This work is monumentally important. Anyone interested in, or worried about, the concept of inequality in the distribution of wealth, should read this book regardless of their ideological or political position.

So you guys have read The Dresden Files, yes? I remember the name cropping up now and then here.
They are sci-fi and recommendable? Amazon just let me know they are $1.99 today, I'm thinking I should just nab them.

I finished last night a little compilation calld Space Eldritch II (Lovecrftian sci-fi) and started a four book saga called Post- Human Series, the first book called Sub-Human; I'm on a serious sci-fi kick.

Salazar
Still here...

They are sci-fi and recommendable?

I'd catagorise them as urban fantasy or something, but yeah, they're good.

Ah yeah, I saw that it was about a detective/wizard.
I'll pass, magic isn't really my thing; thank you Salazar.

Koko Takes a Holiday by Kieran Shea.

Fuck yeah fast-paced, action-oriented cyberpunk.

Just finished a full read-through of the Clockwork Century books (which are all great except for one, which is only "pretty good").  Then picked up The Passage for the... third? time, because I just bought the sequel, and the... third one is coming out... eventually, maybe, soon?

Sysadmin of my brain

I've been reading the Aubrey-Maturin series since April or May.  Last night I finished the thirteenth book of the series, The Thirteen Gun Salute.  Now I'm in hold mode again while I wait for the next books to be checked back into my local library.  It's been an awesome ride with Jack and Stephen so far.

Reading The Ocean At The End Of The Lane. Loving it, but if ever there was a writer who had a comfort zone, Gaiman is it.

^ I loved them, I read the original five books one right after the other. Well, I have to admit that I wasn't all that enthused with the last one, but still! I have even taken the name of one of the characters of the series as user name in some sites: Arkady Darell

For my part, right now I'm reading Hyperion by Dan Simmons, I'm loving it so much, I've read three of the stories within the main story and I was blown away.
Has anybody here read it?

And with this post, I unlocked the Beating a Dead Horse achievement, yay
