As I've said before, my daughter watches it when it's on and I prefer it to some of the other stuff she watches and it has gotten a legimate chuckle out of me on the odd occasion. However, it's still clearly a show written for little girls so I don't get the the obession some people have with it. Saying that, the internet has a tendency to take anything good and run it into the ground (see Batman beats anyone, the cake is a lie e.t.c.).

Oh and I can't stand Pinkie Pie, anytime she opens her mouth I want to pour acid into my ear canal.

I just view it as a fun show, and it's animated really well for a flash cartoon. I'm an animator professionally so I appreciate it when extra time and care is brought to animation especially in a childrens cartoon.
Part of the reason I enjoy Kyoto animation productions like lucky star or K-on so much is because of how well animated they are. Sure they are mainly slice of life animes where not much happens but they are really well done.

I watched the pilot tonight, and...yeah, not for me. But if some of you like it, that's cool. I watched the first season of Pretty Little Liars not long ago and really liked it, so I won't judge.

It's a show that makes me feel happy. Posting pictures of the ponies helps that. That's why people do it.

Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash are my two favourites, about tied. I go with Dashie for the theme here though.

I have seen some obnoxious fans, but I try not to be one. I just have the theme and occassionally mention it.
