Users who cancel installation of the expansion by pressing the "Stop" button may find all of their Final Fantasy XI data erased, which would require the player to reinstall Final Fantasy XI in its entirety, including the Rise of the Zilart expansion. In addition, cancelling the Chains of Promathia expansion in other ways will also require a complete reinstallation of Final Fantasy XI. Users who find their Final Fantasy XI data erased will need their original discs for both the main game and Rise of the Zilart.
