"Can you affiliate with my site?"
Final Fantasy Online takes affiliation very seriously. Affiliates of our site help assist in the production of future updates and content while we offer the same in exchange. We do not affiliate with sites for the sole purpose of exchanging bandwidth. Affiliation is by invitation only. Asking for affiliation will immediately get you declined. If we wish to affiliate with your site, we will come to you.
"Can I work for Final Fantasy Online?"
If there are positions available and you've got what it takes, we're more than willing to give new recruits a chance to work with our team. Consult our Jobs page for more information.
"Can I be a forum moderator/administrator?"
No.
"Can you link to my site?"
Final Fantasy Online does not have a links section. Therefore, we cannot link to your site.
"Can I use your images?"
Absolutely not. All material on Final Fantasy Online is exclusively created, maintained and owned by Final Fantasy Online. Any duplication or reproduction is strictly prohibited. Consult our Terms of Use for more information regarding the use of our material. We will legally persue any site or organization that uses our material without our permission.
You are permitted to use the images available from our gaming section's respective Images, Artwork, or Wallpaper pages as they are available here; for viewing only. However, you are not allowed to use it for the construction or development of any website, publication, or service. You are not allowed to directly link to it from your server, nor are you allowed to remove the watermark. You may only offer our images from your site, served on your server, completely unaltered.
"Can I use your content and material?"
"I found a site using your material."
Contact us with information about the offending site, its address, and the violation in question. Absolutely no site has permission or license to use our content or material.
"Why are you so uptight about the use of your material?"
Because we worked for it. You didn't. Final Fantasy Online is a success because of the attention and detail we put into authentic, original work. Our site is for information reference, its not a "Final Fantasy Website Toolkit." Spend thousands of dollars and countless hours of hard work on your own project like we did.
"Where are your MP3s and/or ROMs?"
We don't offer any. They're illegal.
Owning the original product or deleting it within 24 hours doesn't make a ROM or MP3 of a Final Fantasy product you download from the Internet legal. This is a common misconception.
Backing up YOUR copy of YOUR game or YOUR soundtrack for personal use can be argued as legal. Downloading them from the Internet or any other location breaches that condition and intention because it's not YOUR copy, nor does the transmission of such material signify the activity of "backing up."
