"How was this site created?"
Final Fantasy Online was created through professional web and graphic development in conjunction
with hundreds of hours of gameplay and research of Final Fantasy titles by both contributing
community members and many of our staff. The collaboration of this gameplay makes up the
database of our information, which drives the heart of our site.
"What programs were used to develop it?"
Final Fantasy Online's graphic design was created using Photoshop, its layout created through
"hand coding" of HTML and PHP languages, and its information stored in a powerful SQL database.
All software used to develop and operate Final Fantasy Online is fully licensed by the design and
production team.
"Where did you get your images?"
95% of the imagery which makes up the layout and design of Final Fantasy Online was acquired
using capture equipment and/or software as well as emulators. The other 5% consists of "reproduced"
material created from scratch, such as custom logos and unique character portrayals and angles.
Final Fantasy Online does not acquire any graphic material for its layout from existing online
resources. In essence, everything you see in our design framework was created from self-production
of screenshots, not the Internet. All other media, provided for viewing and reference, are acquired
either from news sources, official media kits, or through the same self-production.
