The third version of Final Fantasy VII Online was dubbed an "anniversary edition," marking the one year anniversary of the site. Launching in November of 1998, the new design started what would be the general theme for redesigns to come. In addition, the content and material became even more complete when detailed shopping guides were added. Profile pages and information lists were completely refurbished with new color schemes and table arrangements. Version 3 also took on support for the newly released PC version of Final Fantasy VII at the time.
