I got a PSP for Christmas! Anyone who's considering buying an e1000/PSP Street - it's not bad. Chunky and cheap with a nice matte plastic finish that doesn't pick up fingerprints at all. I will say though that it is unforgiveable that the PSP doesn't come with some tiny amount of inbuilt memory to save games to, and getting stuff off the PSN is something of a ballache (since it has to be downloaded, checked, installed and then checked AGAIN) and son't MediaGo software is clunky as hell. If what you're looking for is a cheap and cheerful PSP then it definitely does that.

With it I got Wipeout Pulse, Persona 3, Dissidia 012 and War of the Lions. Dissidia is kinda fun but I have not the slightest clue what I'm doing, Persona 3 is about the most JRPG I've ever played, Tactics hasn't come yet and Wipeout is just a ton of fun. I'm thoroughly enjoying. Crisis Core is next, as soon as I'm done with all the stuff I've got.

Just make sure you take care of it.

I have a 2000, the original slim. I hacked it up, and frankly use it more to play SNES and PSX games than any PSP games. But anyway, I threw it in a drawer with some random game crap on top of it, and when I took it out to play it a few months later the LCD screen had weird spots all over it where it looks like the screen was getting splotchy. Like something melting. I considered buying a new screen, but I honestly don't play it enough to justify that amount, and it's not super obvious when I'm playing it.
