I'm really not a fan of the PsP FFIV and Dimensions art styles. I liked the 16 bit pixel graphics of All The Bravest a lot better.

Fixed it.

The SNES version is still solid as always, while the PS1 version is so bad it got a ton of first-time players to hate FFV.

I imagine this iOS version to fall somewhere in between the SNES and PS1 version. Which one it's closer to has yet to be seen, but those new sprites do not inspire a whole lot of confidence.

Some gameplay video of the opening of this version of FFV. Backgrounds and monsters look good, but goddamn those sprites are terrible.

I've been there, hombre.

Those sprites look worse than RPG Maker. Damn they're bland.

Oh well, at least we have a dozen other versions of FFV to fall back on.

Just got this yesterday. The character sprites look weird but good golly miss Molly the battle backgrounds and monsters look amazing.

ALSO YOU CAN MOVE DIAGONALLY AND IT'S LIKE WHOA DUDE WHAT IS THIS.

And Boco has a dialog portrait. Seriously.
