It's VII for me, despite how uncool I'm sure that makes me seem. One day, I tell ya, it'll loop back around to being cool again.

VIII>IX>VII, but they're all damn great.

You... actually used the Draw system?

The secret to real ultimate mastery of FFVIII is to play Triple Triad until you are sick of it, play it even more, get frustrated and quit the game, pick it up a year later, play that fucking card game for five minutes until you go fuck this, dig out the Gameshark, and cheat all the cards in. Then mass convert them to items, then magic.

It all ends with beginnings...

It's a tie between VII and VIII...so I'll go with Tactics.

Somewhat correct - actually, your characters are most powerful if you never level them up, and only enhance stats through junctioning. Playing a no-level playthrough of this game brings the MOST dominant party to end-game.

Now, as I look back I see the crooked path that I had been set upon all those years before, leading me inexorably to this moment. I can still see her face in my mind's eye, poor dear Laura, such a sad tale is ours. A tale of heroes who strove to save humanity only to lose our own.

I need a new rock bottom.

If we are sticking with numerical Final Fantasy I'll go with VII. Of all, Tactics all the way!

VII. But it's also the one i have the biggest trouble in replaying. I can only play it for so long before i burst out laughing at the graphics. Mainly at how i could of ever though it looked great.

Of course, you also need to buy tons of Tents and Cottages, refine them Mega-Potions, sell them for a profit, and then use the profit to buy items to refine into stat ups, play absurd amounts of Triple Triad and refine character cards to stat ups, and spend an absurd amount of time playing with a Pocketstation to win stat ups, so that your minimum level characters can have max stats even when unjunctioned. Don't forget to use Edea to level up all the GFs available at that point too.

But let's be honest here. None of that really matters.

The true secret to real ultimate mastery of FF8 is pressing the O and then the X button, as well as Right and then Left really fast.

I had forgottent to include Tactics. I woudl say I prefer FFVII to the other 3, and I would put Tactics just above VIII & FFIX. The problem with FFVIII & FFIX is that both had glaring issues amongst the amazing awesomes.

VII > Tactics > VIII > IX

Although I have recently replayed all of them except IX. Maybe my opinion will improved on a replay.

What a Tedious fight!

FVIII. FFVII is 'aight. But I'm getting pretty sick of it. I never finished IX. The beginning of the game is terribly boring.

IX then VIII then VII (then Tactics, although I guess that game isn't really included lol)

IX is my favourite FF, tied only with VI. VIII took me awhile to come around to but eventually I realized how much better than VII it was. VII actually used to be my favourite, but I've realized over the years that it "ain't all that" any more.

2011.

Still using draw to get magic.

I seriously hope....

Well, it's a tossup for FF7/8 for me. FF7 looks and sounds crappy but there was so much to do. Yet FF8 had better music, graphics, and story. But most of your time is in battle and FF7's battles flowed smoothly and looked/sounded better than FF8. FF9 I can't stand replaying due to the battle engine and bland story/characters.
