Fiished Deus Ex: HR yesterday. taking a small break then back into it for a 2nd playthrough.
I was a bit disappointed in the ending(s), but the after credit scene made it worth it.

~30 hours into Fallout 3, still not sure if I even like it. It feels like doing the same thing over and over again. But Oblivion never did.

Run across dead landscape, run into dead building, shoot everything dead, shaking my head as my pistol explodes heads and sends bodies flying 50 feet, gather the same seven junk items, fast travel back to the one town I've found in 30 hours, don't sell anything because the vendor refuses to get more money, repeat.
Pretty much. I tried to go back to Fallout 3 a couple days ago and couldn't play more than about 20 minutes of it. New Vegas just destroys it on every single level.

Playing Deus Ex Human Revolution. Just finished Magna Carta 2 which was much better than the reviews indicated. Then again, JRPGs tend to get slammed more than they deserve by current game critics with the exception of Mario RPGs and the Persona series.

Oh man, whilst playing BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, I completed Ragna's Story by getting his gag reel ending. I didn't know Story mode had this stuff; Like, I'm assuming every character has a gag reel. I was laughing so hard at Ragna's-- I can't wait to get to the other ones. =D

In short: Actual story, actual characters, diverse NPCs, MUCH better writing, skills are actually important, conversations often using said skills are important, quests that feel like you're making a difference in the setting, dealing with all the factions.

Now's a great time to pick up New Vegas, too, with the last DLC coming up (and with most of the more serious release bugs fixed).

I finished Star Ocean 2 last night; after being swamped more than once at some floor in the maze, I gave up and went ahead and finished it; I guess I was over-leveled because my characters were level 120 or so and the boss was a breeze; he didn't have time to do much, honestly. And the ending left me underwhelmed, but great game overall.
All the endings are underwhelming, but that's what happens when you advertise "Over 80 possible endings."

Guess so!, is there any ending where I get to see the re-encounter between father and son?, because that's what I was waiting for.

Aaaand now, I'm starting to re-play Star Ocean.
I have some spoiler knowledge that would prevent that scenario from happening. I could post it, but I'd rather not ruin a 12 year old game (at least the original) for those who haven't played it. If you really want to know, you could PM me on the ancient forum.

Nah, that's okay, thank you, though.

We all float down here...

Xenoblade Chronicles - Amazing! NoA needs to do us right and just release this.

Still plugging along at Xenogears and Breath of Fire, although most of my time is devoted to XC.

Insert witty remark here.

Just finished playing Dead Space 2. While I think they fixed just about all the issues I had with the first game, I fucking hated the last stretch. Playing through it I just kept wanting it to end, but they just kept delaying it. So in the end I think I liked the first one better.

Not sure what to play next. I either finish my playthrough of Killzone 2 in preperation for when Killzone 3 comes in the mail, or I start Tales of Vesperia or Borderlands. Any suggestions?
