Since Alice: Madness Returns came with American McGee's Alice, I'm playing that. Will likely play Madness Returns right after, unless I decide to play something quick in between the two.

Assassin's Creed 2 finally and probably Gears 3 after tonight. AC2 is quite good, I can see why people enjoyed it much more than the first one. Just small things really but they tend to make the overall package better.

And lots of Black Ops on the side, possibly because I feel like I'm getting decent finally.

Killzone 3, due to Blockbuster having another (perhaps final) tier of nationwide closures as previously mentioned. The discounts for games had just switched from 15% off to 40% off, and I didn't want to risk waiting for 70% for fear that their stock of my personal wishlist of games would be wiped out. I bought the DLC maps bundle, too, so I'm having to get used to the new scenery.

Finished Radiant Historia (thanks for the rec Spidey <img title="Smile" src="/scripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-smile.gif" alt="Smile" border="0" />), now I'm deciding between whether or not to finally get a PSP + Crisis Core/Tactics Orge/KH:Birth By Sleep, or play one of the many games I've already bought but have been putting off. (Uncharted 1/2 and DQ 6 are the first ones to pop in my head.)

Put Dragon Quest IX down since I finished the main story and so far everything else seems to just be fetch quests (not that that is much different from the main story, just with less focus now). Started up DQVI and so far it's alright, though I found some issues with the party talk feature, namely my characters knowing things before they logically should know them. Not expecting it to be as good as V was, but hopefully it'll be on par with IV.

Just finished Lonesome Road. It cemented the fact that New Vegas has pretty much the best story DLC I've ever purchased. It was a great conclusion to the thread that's been running through the DLC episodes, both story-wise and thematically.

I'm really going to be bummed if Obsidian doesn't develop the next Fallout game.

Gears 3, and it's pretty fun. Shotgun rushers still abound and although I like the new Hammerburst a lot both Lancers seem to be better in most situations, especially the normal one.

Story is pretty fun so far, the squad banter is pretty top notch or at least noticeably better than the previous gears titles and the characters are being fleshed out well. The main ones anyway. New Carmine is pretty awesome and there's been some good tongue in cheek moments along the way.

Beast and Horde are pretty fun but the maps defininitely make each easier or harder.

Kirby Mass Attack. It's a lot of fun and there's lots of stuff to unlock. The controls don't take that long to get used to (it's touch screen only) and once you've got them down-pat, you'll be flying through the game.

I'm (I was?) playing Tales of the Abyss, to tell the truth, it isn't exciting me that much, don't care for Luke, I'm tired of sassy little girls that are in the military/guardians/bodyguards, etc, I'm tired of little anythings being super important (I'm looking at you, Ion), the whole phonon thing is boring me to death, most of the voice acting sucks, most names are stupid *sigh* if it wouldn't be that I recently enjoyed Star Ocean Second Evolution and more prominently Radiant Historia, I would say I'm done with JRPGs.

So now, who knows, I'm tempted to try something survival horror, like Dead Space or some other Fatal Frame game.

I finished Gears 3 the other night and maybe it's because it's obviously so fresh in my mind, but I'd place it as the best campaign of the trilogy. I never really touched multiplayer or any other mode in the previous games but I'm having a blast with Horde mode.
