Sorry to hear you aren't enjoying TotA. It's one of my favorite JRPGs but everybody has different tastes.

I'm about 40% done with Star Ocean Second Evolution but in my quest to replay all four in numerical order I just couldn't wait to start TtEoT so I'm alternating between the two. Hell, I even watched the first hours worth of cutscenes this time around (the most painfully boring part of SO3) since it's been so long since a proper playthrough.

Catastrophe, I'm really envious. This is the one time being a pirate has let me down because an AP hack is still yet to be released for most DS carts. I replayed Canvas Curse and Squeek Squad in my excitement for MA. Guess I can't complain. :)

I've been making headway in my FF VI replay too; I was only playing about an hour a week but I just can't put it down for more than a day at this point (right before the Floating Continent). This game just never gets old. I learned a new trick against the flame boss in the burning house. Buy two Ice staffs/rods/whatever and use them as items. That + earings = 10 second battle.

Last one I promise: I started up Atelier Annie on DS yesterday because I'm considering buying the latest on PS3 and wanted to see if I was still into the series. I heard Iris was much, MUCH more combat and exploration based then the rest of the series and this game definitely proves that but it's still entertaining in it's own way.

Currently Playing: Dark Cloud 2: 3 hours.
Also Playing: CT, FF VI, Solatorobo, Secret of Mana, Halo 4.
Just Finished: Fable II: 7 hours.

Mavs, as good as Radiant Historia was, I might be crazy, but Xenoblade might be even better. Not done with it yet, but it's fantastic. This is a golden year for jRPGS for myself!

I likes Tales of Abyss but I can see why you don't like it. It does get better as you go on though. Did you like any other Tales games?

LOL!!!!! That says it all. I've only seen those cutscenes once, out of like 9 playthroughs

Every time I see an add for GOW3 I want to play and like GOW1 even though I tried it and couldn't get into it. However, all I want to do lately is play WoW while I watch TV. Damn you, Fall Television Season.

Yes, what of it?

After nearly 100 hours of TO: Let us Cling together, I find myself really loving leveling up my underlings. Since the unit cap is 50, I've been trying to build up a team of only Dragon Units. I started on a mission with my equally leveled fairy healer, and as the forces came in to surround my group, the dragons not only fought them of due to their superior defense, but then began to chase the remaining members of the enemy group across the map and eliminate them one by one.

I on a sidequest, I found a dragon that had pratically all of the healing spells, but his attitude towards his party's leadership was too positive to make him join me. So sad. I haven't really even messed around in the other paths yet. I'm just trying to get my hands on the enemies equipment. The stores stopped updating, and the random guys have a level higher than I do.

I'd call this game the Anti FFT. One is a really good Apple, while the other is a really good Orange. Both are great, but they are pretty different games.

Woo hoo Kirby Mass Attack fix! Also the DS Aliens game released so I've got that loaded up and ready to try out in the near future. And ICO/SotC shipped so that's on my plate in about two days. Did I mention I'm playing Lunar 2 on emulator for small bits of time as well? Sweet Jesus this is retarded!

Just finished Gears 3, man that was awesome. I've got Dark Souls on the way hopefully, but in the meantime I'll probably just play a bit of Shogun 2. Aliens DS game is out? Might have to pick that up.

Guys, I chased the game for so long because I had heard nothing but good things about it, perhaps I should try it again some time later, that usually helps.

Spidey, I played Tales of Vesperia and I loved it, I figured being another Tales game, I would like it as well, it's just that Luke and the phonons and...argh!. And you are really liking Xenoblade?, I wish I could play it too, then...

I went back to Valkyrie Profile 2, while I wait for Fatal Frame 3 to arrive in the mail.

I've been playing a lot of Saints Row 2 lately. At one point I just stopped doing missions and decided to do all of the sidequests at once... it took a few days to finish those up. Now that I'm done with that I'm just tearing through the remaining missions really quickly with all my overpowered unlockable shit. Feels good man. I should be able to finish the rest of the missions today.

I'm also playing 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors. I think I'm almost finished with that as well.

Yeah, Luke is pretty argh. But you don't play TotA for Luke. You play it for the best jRPG character of all time: Jade Curtiss.

Guy and Natalia are pretty awesome too. :D

Eh, Jade's okay, I didn't get to know Natalia, but I think I was close, since I stopped playing right after crossing back the border, I was looking foward to have her in my party, because I really like archers.

inFAMOUS 1. I collected my final blast shard (I didn't realize it was so far out in the water-- I should have used my eyes instead of my radar), so I was -finally- able to start my Infamous playthrough to clean up the other half of the game, and I'm about halfway through that.

Mavs maybe drop it maybe hold out one day for the 3DS version....the PS2 load times are unbearable. I played half the game while playing my DS during the load times

Uncharted 3 multiplayer (thanks, Subway)! I know it's still early, but anyone else playing yet?

Also picked up Burnout Crash, which a lot of critics were unimpressed with but I've found to be hugely fun and addictive.

Insert witty remark here.

Finally playing ICO for the first time ever thanks to buying the ICO & Shadow of the Colossus HD bundle. Thouroughly enjoying it too.
