I can't find a stream for the album version, but Vampire Weekend's Unbelievers is pretty much the best thing ever. This album took awhile to grow on me even more than Contra, but I love it. Unbelievers, Ya Hey and Finger Back are amazing, and I already loved Diane Young and Step when I first heard them. Almost every song is great, except for Hudson. That one's probably getting deleted.

Right now I'm listening to Radiohead's latest remix album which has Four Tet, Jamie XX, Caribou, Blawan, Lone, and more doing remixes of KoL. It's so good.

But lately I've been hooked on new albums by:
Boards of Canada
Gold Panda
Jon Hopkins
Sorrow

It's a good song, but Ya Hey still has a monopoly on my soul. And the voice modulation there is much less irritating than on Diane Young

Ya Hey is definitely the best song on the album. Unbelievers is just my close second favorite. Yeah, VW could do without the voice modulation, but I got used to it. As soon as I heard Ya Hey I tried to find it live without the effects but they even do it in shows, so I just got over it.

Yeah, and even on DIane Young it's balanced by Rostam going percussion crazy awesome all over the place :D

Oh yeah, I love that song too despite the weird vocals. Only VW track with eccentricities I still can't get past is California English. I don't hate it, but it's my least favorite on that album. I guess that still puts it way above Hudson.

Now I wanna listen to Modern Vampires again. XD

Yeah I was not the hugest fan of Contra in general.

In non VW music, I replayed Journey for the first time in a year last week and Apotheosis has had a monopoly on my soul ever since

Eh, but it's catchier, so I like it a lot more. It's the autotune I hate about California English. Ugh. But I'll still listen to it, which is more than I can say for Hudson. Dunno what they were thinking with that one... I know, artistic integrity, blah blah blah, but that track just makes the end of the album drag. As in boring, not because it's a downer.
