Well, there's Vampire Weekend coming before then.

I've had an unfortunate lack of new music lately due to the big HMV near my place closing down. I'd buy off Amazon, but they don't take PayPal. But I signed up for NoiseTrade, so far I discovered this band Mother Falcon, which is a 21(ish)-piece orchestral indie band. Pretty good, if you like that sort of thing. Although based on the stream for their new album I supported on Kickstarter, I like their older music more.

Oh, and I've also been listening to Pretty Lights. Awesome mostly-instrumental hip-hop-ish stuff. Apparently his upcoming album was created with samples from records he made himself or something, which is a cool concept. Another big reason I'm into his music is he offers it all for free/by donation on his site. I plan to buy the album when it comes out.

And motherfucking Divine Fits. Side project of Britt Daniels from Spoon and former Handsome Furs frontman Dan Boeckner. Amazing if you like either of those bands. Excellent debut album full of great songs like "Civilian Stripes" "Flaggin�?? A Ride" and "Would That Not Be Nice".

Have I mentioned Givers? Really great upbeat eclectic indie-pop stuff with girl/boy vocals. You know how I love the girl/boy vocals.

Okay, so I guess there has been some good new music in my life lately.

Haha, I actually quite dig all the links you provided, I'm gonna add them to my youtube music playlist.
I think I'm naturally inclined towards instrumental songs. That's probably why I like VG music so much.

Here's one tune I don't imagine many people would like, but I have never gotten tired of: 16 solid minutes of Kirby remix tunes
