Sing for me, little bird
A Feast for Crows is likely my least favourite of the books so far but I still loved the hell out of it. I got a lot of enjoyment reading through Cersei's POV. Every second sentence in her chapters are filled with absolute spite and malice for everybody around her. Not just the things she says or even the things she thinks to herself, but Martin's exposition as well. I couldn't help but have a shit eating grin on my face while reading those chapters.

Just finished Ender's Game. It was fun and interesting.
Trying to decide what I want to read now.
It's either going to be American Gods, Atlas Shrugged, or Tales of Earthsea trilogy. Any suggestions? Or I go back to Dresden Files. Blood Rites is the next one up.
FFS YOU DECIDE!

The King's orders are absolute
You already decided but American Gods. Tales of Earthsea was good, but be sure to steer far far away from the Sci Fi Channel movie adaption. That was horrible.
I'm currently reading Diana Wynne Jones' Dalemark Quartet. I'm close to the halfway point of the second book, Drowned Ammet, at present. I'm liking them so far though they do feel a little different from her later stories I've read, which makes sense since the first book apparently came out around the mid '70's.

One of the Barnes & Nobles here made a little fuckup and put the new Duane Swierczynski novel, Hell & Gone, on the shelves a week early.
So I grabbed it without a second thought and will be reading it tomorrow.

Yeah, only read Atlas Shrugged if you want to see firsthand where Republicans got the inspiration for their current fucked up politics. And even if that's the case, be prepared to suffer through the fact that it's just shitty literature.
I'm about to start
The Road
by Cormac McCarthy. Yes, I'm just now getting to it. Slacking, I know.

Decided that since it's Halloween I should read a horror novel. And I just happened to have one by one of my favorite authors lying around.
Unfortunately,
Come Closer
by Sara Gran wasn't scary.
Fortunately,
Come Closer
by Sara Gran was still a great story and I loved it. Really short, though. Only about 160 pages. Which isn't a bad thing, I prefer shorter novels to 500+ page behemoths. Still, I was hoping to kill more time today than two and a half hours.

I took the plunge and got myself a book of H.P. Lovecraft stories, wowee!, he was uhm...how should I put it...
intolerant
but I'm loving his tales so much.
I'm also finishing a Halloween compilation of very old stories, legends poems and theatrical scripts and couple of nights ago, I finished Mass Effect Retribution, not the most sophisticated writing ever, but I'm hoping this guy writes some more, because I love getting all the info on the world of Mass Effect.

I read it when I was 17 and sick in bed, one night my fever got really high and I became delirious and convinced that Gage was right outside my bedroom, I could smell him and everything, worst night of my teenage life.
