I'm intrigued enough to give it a shot, but I probably wouldn't pay full price for this. It'd also have to wait until after I get a 3DS, whenever that happens.

The party members look heavily medicated.

Can't say I'm excited. The musical combat idea is interesting enough, but I wouldn't want to do everything using rhythm. That would get old fast. Then again, I'm not a Rock Band/Guitar Hero/etc. player, so there could be a market for this.

I'm definitely gonna buy this one. I've never played a music game so an FF one is perfect to get me into them (if I end up liking them) :)
I see that they've listened to the fans for the best soundtracks and fmvs too, so it could possibly sell pretty well, regardless of what looks like a niche-ish market.

I don't get S-E sometimes. This is total nostalgic tat, something they love. And yet they won't re-release or remake the PS1 FF's, but all prior FF's get that treatment, hell even FF X is. Those guys should either remake the good stuff they did years ago or concentrate on actually getting a new FF out more often than 1 every 5-6 years.

Squareenix probably needs to keep the whole remaking PSX FF's thing locked up until the day the company runs out of ideas and Final Fantasy goes bankrupt. The next thing you know they're gonna be coming out with a Final Fantasy Golf for the PS5 just to keep the Square title alive.

With that said, disregard everything above. Theatrythm has a great concept! FF Music? I'll buy anything that says "composed by Nobuo Uematsu" on the box. I'm suprised they came out with Dissidia before coming out with this (or something similar to it at least). If this turns out anything like Elite Beat Agents, I'll be satisfied.
