I like how after the splash image in the intro, the next credit is the casting director.

Cuz double seriously that person deserves THAT spot in this movie, for reals.

Yeah. I think the only casting I wasn't a huge fan of was Rooker as Yondu. And that's not because it was bad or anything. It's just that I felt like everyone else disappeared in the roles but Yondu was just Space Michael Rooker to me.

Still, he had some great scenes.

I thought I was going to dislike Rocket's voice being that he should sound Scottish. But Bradley Cooper did just fine with his voice.

Saw it a second time in 3D. It didn't add much to the experience. I still liked the movie, but I think I will see it in 2D again if I go see iti n a theater for a third time.

I've been there, hombre.

I'm not a huge fan of Avatar, but it was probably the best execution of 3D I've ever seen. The level of immersion without the gimmicky stuff-flying-at-your-face took 3D to a whole new level. Gravity did the same thing, though was probably more constrained.
