Did anyone really think Anakin was going to be evil as a little boy? I certainly didn't. After all, the ultimate point of the originals was Luke finding the good in his father and redeeming him. Therefore he couldn't have been born evil, that would have defeated the whole point of the originals.

I've never heard anyone list this as a complaint towards the prequels. OF COURSE he should start out good. In fact, he should have been LIKABLE so that when he does inevitably turn evil its seen as tragic instead of the audience collectively sighing and thinking, "FINALLY!"

Onyx said: Granted, I actually liked Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Was it as good as Raiders or Last Crusade? Nope. Would I watch it any day of the week over Temple of Doom? Absolutely.
judge_raz said: I have never understood the hate that Temple gets.
