I just bought the Peter Gabriel Bluray "New Blood" and I'm watching it right now.

No standard band, just PG and a 46 piece orchestra. The renditions of his old songs are fucking amazing.

I'm not as much of a fan of the new Florence + the Machine album as the previous one.

At the moment, I've been listening to a fuckton of Janelle Monae, after I got The ArchAndroid from Amazon the other day. Excellent purchase. I reckon I've listened to Tightrope about 20 times. Which is a lot for me, because I'm not a singles kinda guy.

Also listening to Cults, Bjork's Homogenic, and some Robyn, too, because I need to be full gay sometimes, and listening to fab music without awesome basslines and beats just doesn't cut it.

Same, but it's got some catchy moments. And that one song that sounds like a straight-up copy of early Arcade Fire.

Anybody been listening to Band of Skulls? 'Sweet Sour' is a pretty good album, not ground-breaking in the least and not as heavy-hitting as the first one, but definitely worth picking up if you like that blues rock stuff.

Delta Spirit's new one is a bit disappointing but I haven't had a chance to listen in detail. It's just more modern than I was hoping for.

Finally got around to listening to Justice's 'Audio, Video, Disco' and I fucking love it. I feel like this is what Daft Punk should've done after 'Discovery'. At least someone's taking up the reins.

Oh, and Fleet Foxes' 'Helplessness Blues' is so damn good once you listen to the lyrics. Late to the party, yes.
