Here is what they announced so far.

The box includes the PlayStation disc versions of all the numeric Final Fantasy games from FFI to FFXIII. It also comes with a Crystal ArtWorks art book, special music CDs, a movie showing 25 years of FF, among other goodies like a Moogle in-game earring for FFXIV.

Well, I know what I'm getting for Christmas.  I guess I picked a good time to finish gathering all the pre-existing Amano artwork since this seems to be the motherlode.

PS2 version of FF11 is hilarious.

This reminds me of when I bought the MGS collection for PS2 and MGS1 was still two PSX discs when I was expecting it on a PS2 disk. I couldn't believe they had just repackaged a PSX game and I remember putting it in and getting the old familiar PSX startup and all I could think was "Man, haven't seen that in years". Thank goodness the PS2 was backwards compatible eh?

Too bad my PS3 isn't, so all those PS2 games are worthless unless I switch consoles. Oh and a UMD? How quaint. Did no one tell Square that Sony has killed them?

Then again, why would I but this when I still pretty much have all of these games.

I love how there is no x-2 or XIII-2

Also why is VII 4 discs?

Crono
Crono can cross dimensions too!

Yeah, I have absolutely no reason to want this since I own every single one of those things already (well except the III UMD since I have the DS cart).  And yes, it is hillarious having that ONE UMD sitting there.  And yes, it would have been very wise to do this on something that could all be used on one system.  I'm actually surprised they aren't charging MORE for this though.  I'm not saying it's cheap by any means but I expect much more price gouging from SE.

Currently Playing: Dark Cloud 2: 3 hours.
Also Playing: CT, FF VI, Solatorobo, Secret of Mana, Halo 4.
Just Finished: Fable II: 7 hours.

The Japanese version of FFVII International came with a fourth bonus disk with additional content (trivia, map, etc).

It's a pretty nifty looking collection. I believe it's going for close to 500 dollars though, a very hefty price tag.

It looks pretty cool but I definitely agree that they should have put it all into one single format. I really like the Amano art on the discs.

Let's Play Chrono Trigger
Let's Play The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past
Let's Play Final Fantasy VI

I'm not too worried about the disc formats. I am planning on getting all systems when I become filthy rich anyway. This is purely for collectors and I must admit, in spite of how I am loathing Square Enix's decisions in the past couple of years, I really want this.

FFXIII - FFXIII-2 dual packs.

http://kotaku.com/5939780/double-your-final-fantasy-xiii-pleasure-with-this-limited-edition-pack

FFXIII-3 is called

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.

FFXIII-3 looks to be an action RPG.

Going to be on PS3 and 360.

Looks to be using a time format much like Majoras Mask as the main gameplay trick.
