Congrats to Big Blue on the win, it was certainly well deserved.

That said, was anyone else underwhelmed by the game. And I don't mean "it didn't live up to the hype!" kind of underwhelmed. Granted, I didn't have much of a rooting interest after the Niners lost two weeks ago but I didn't feel much excitement at any point through the game. The aircraft hangar they played in sucked out all the crowd noise. Apart from Manningham's catch there weren't any big plays, there were next to no turnovers, and really the teams just slowly marched up and down the field. Hell, the first quarter only took a half hour to play. I still had a good time watching, but when it ended it was more of a "Well, there you go then" reaction.

The halftime show and lack of good commercials definatly dragged the game down a bit for me. Quick first half and lack of big plays had a part in it as well. The Superbowl has always been this special event for me, but last night felt more like a regular game for most of the night. Still glad the Giants won.

Actually, it was pretty much like Super Bowl XLII. The first half was pretty quick, and for all of three quarters, nothing major happened. Then the fourth quarter happened.

Same with this game, in my opinion. Of all of them, the fourth quarter was heart pounding.
