Watching the videos where they introduce the voice actors that song is apparently done by the girl who plays pinkie pie, and its a song about love between friends. Whatever.

I wonder if Japanese people watch American cartoons and say man the american voice actors are so much better than ours.

I liked the new episodes. Anypony watch them?

We have some world building, some good characterization, and action. And they have set up for an overarching plot. The only thing missing was a song, but I don't even think one would have fit in the episode so I am fine with this.

Better than the season 3 opener.

Nightmare Moon and Discord? Yes please. Also Applejack kicked ass, which I always appreciated since she tends to be less popular. Neutral Discord was perfect. He's no hero and he still enjoys chaos. I can't complain. He still has his Q mannerisms.

I liked it for the same reasons Crisium did. I'm interested in seeing what's in the box. I hope their will be some fun episodes this season. The whole crystal kingdom was kind of dull last season.

Okay, so I'm caught up, up to the latest episode.

The season is off to a good start but we're just about half-way through and too many questions have been raised.

-What's with the locked box?
-What's with the rainbow thread?
-Will Flutterbat ever surface again?
-Is Pinkie Pie an Apple or not?

Granted, the only really pressing question is what's up with the box. The other three could easily resurface in future seasons.

Best song thus far, is Generosity from Rarity Takes Manehattan. Then Bats.

The two-parter opener is the weakest two-parter of the series (thus far). It was even weaker than the seaon three opener with King Sombra. I think we got spoiled with the openers (and closers) of Seasons 1 and 2.

I'm pretty sure this is a full 26 episode season catastrophe. There's still plenty more to go.
