I'm waiting for a price drop. Then again, I haven't even bought Leviathan yet. I am ridiculously slow when it comes to buying Mass Effect DLC. I didn't even get Arrival until like, 2 weeks before ME3 came out.

ME DLC doesn't drop in price, it just (very rarely) goes on sale. Unless you wait untl next black forday, you're probably aways looking at $25 for both.

Overall, not a bad purchase. I think some of the negative feedback from the fanbase has been absurd, but it does kind of stink that you can't go back to Omega after the DLC. But either way, I enjoyed it.

The ME fanbae having absurd complains and negative feedback? You don't say.

I picked it up yesterday. I have it and Leviathan waiting for me whenI finish this runthrough of ME2, which I'm about a third of the way through. I'm particulaly interested in Omega, since it's done by the guys at BioWare Montreal, aka the guys who did the ME3 multiplayer (and from what I hear of Omega, it shows) and are working on ME4.

Yeah, I mean I have like $70 to spend on PSN, but I just don't want to spend $15 on this.

So this was announced the other day: https://www.gamespot.com/news/bioware-announces-final-mass-effect-3-single-player-dlc-6404288

I'm fairly excited, but I'm also a ME fanboy. Curious what the non-fanboy fans think of this.

It was a pretty good run. All things considered, especially with the doomsaying about the DLC sales ending things prematurely, ME3 only ended up with one less piece of significant singleplayer content than ME2 (From Ashes, Leviathan, Omega, and Citadel vs. Cerberus Network stuff, Kasumi, Overlord, Shadow Broker, and Arrival). And the amount of free multiplayer DLC as well as the more extensive content of each ME3 DLC piece more than makes up the difference there.

Given the sheer size of the Citadel (4GB) you could argue it's two or three DLC's in one, but we'll have to see when it comes out.

I'll probably end up getting it, but like all recent DLC I still feel like it's essentially pointless - it won't change the story.

At least we'll get one last performance out of Robin Sachs.

It's the Mass Effect Holiday Special.

That label is unjustified unless there's an entire scene dedicated to Wrex's grandfather jacking off to some weird porn.

I guess that's why Wex killed off most of his immediate family.  To prevent that from happening.

I'll get is when the DLC goes on sale, same as the Omega stuff. I want to play it but don't want to shell out the regular prices for something that's filler since Shepard's story is over. I also don't like the DLC being released so long after release. If this stuff had come out in consecutive months after release it'd be a different story.

That was.. extremely cheesy. I might get it when I'm done with my current games.

I'd like to say I'm over the original ending debacle... but my enthusiasm for Mass Effect just isn't what it was beforehand. I still love the series, but I don't find myself on the edge of my seat chomping at the chance to get more. Not when Ni No Kuni and Fire Emblem Awakeneing are out and Pandora's Tower and BioShock Infinite are coming. Setting all the DLC before the ending is just a drag.

I'm an hour into it roughly. It's as fan servicey as hell, but it is a lot of fun. The character interactions are worth it. I'll update when I finish, but I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would. I'll update when I'm done.

It's worth it to see

Spoiler: Move your mouse over the container to reveal.
Wrex in a tux, or what passes for one in the ME universe anyway. And yes, dance.

Dunno, though bringing Wrex back from the dead would fit with the general crazyness of the plot. It's purely for fans guys, if you're looking for an epic continuation to the ME universe you're in the wrong place.

I finished up the main plot and will echo it's cheesy as hell. It's total fanservice - which means there's good and bad with it. Personally I don't think the main plot of the DLC had to be nearly so cheesy. It could have been written in a tone that fit better with ME3 and still included alot of the banter and squad stuff. There's a ton of inside jokes and nods to stuff throughout the series that makes it at least entertaining if you're a fan of the series. It really is kind of a shame though that they couldn't have written the plot a bit more serious.

I've barely scratched the surface of the content AFTER the main plot though, but from what I can see, this is where the good stuff is.

Unless you're a die hard ME fan, I'd say wait until it goes on sale. I'm enjoying the DLC, but I was hoping for something that ties in a bit more to everything else.

"Uncle Urdnot's back in town, and he brought the boom!"

I don't care what anyone says. Wrex in this DLC is pure gold.
