Gongaga Reactor
Overview
The Gongaga Reactor is a destroyed mako facility overgrown by jungle and partially submerged in ruined machinery. The site is optional but contains a Turks encounter and a key scene involving Scarlet's search for Huge Materia. The wreckage illustrates the danger of Shinra's reactor program and explains the hardship faced by Gongaga's residents. Enemy encounters and hidden materia reward exploration of the surrounding paths. The area is compact and remains accessible after the first visit.
