Overview

Mt. Nibel in the present is a larger exploration area than the version shown in Cloud's flashback. The route includes mountain paths, caves, pipes, bridges, the reactor approach, and several hidden treasure areas. Materiya Keeper guards the exit toward Rocket Town, while powerful enemies and missable items reward careful navigation. The familiar scenery highlights inconsistencies between Cloud's memory and the present world. The mountain remains accessible after completion and connects Nibelheim with the western plains.
