North Corel
Overview
North Corel is a settlement built by survivors of the destruction of the original mining town. Its improvised buildings, dusty terrain, and hostile residents reflect the community's poverty and resentment toward Barret. The town provides shops, an inn, and the cable-car station leading to Gold Saucer. Later, the Huge Materia train mission can dramatically affect the town and its residents. North Corel remains a recurring hub and one of the clearest examples of Shinra's damage to local communities.
