Planet's Core
Overview
The Planet's Core is the deepest region beneath the Northern Cave and the setting of the final confrontation with Sephiroth. The environment becomes increasingly abstract as the party moves beyond ordinary geography into the center of the Planet's crisis. Successive battles involve Jenova-SYNTHESIS, Bizarro-Sephiroth, Safer Sephiroth, and Cloud's final internal confrontation. There are no shops, save points beyond the prepared final area, or opportunities to return once the sequence begins. This location concludes the main story and resolves the conflict surrounding Meteor, Holy, and the Lifestream.
