Chocobo Forests
Overview
The Chocobo Forests are a linked set of optional puzzle areas distributed across Trabia and Centra. Six forests contain whistle-based chicobo puzzles, while the seventh is the Chocobo Sanctuary reached after completing the others. Each forest has a distinct arrangement and difficulty, and solving a forest permanently allows the local mother chocobo to be called without repeating the puzzle. Hidden treasures include rare stones and the Chicobo Card, and riding chocobos allows travel across shallow water that normal ground vehicles cannot cross. The forests contain no conventional battles and function as exploration, puzzle, and world-navigation content rather than combat areas.
