Sorceress Memorial
Overview
Sorceress Memorial is an Esthar containment facility designed to isolate and seal powerful sorceresses. It was originally associated with Adel's imprisonment and is later used to confine Rinoa when Esthar considers her powers too dangerous. The location is highly controlled, with security personnel, sealed chambers, and advanced technology rather than random encounters or extended exploration. Squall's decision to rescue Rinoa here marks a major personal turning point and begins the final stage of the story. After the rescue, the facility has little additional gameplay content and is primarily significant for Esthar's response to sorceress threats.
