Dollet
Overview
Dollet is an independent coastal city built around steep streets, a central square, a pub, shops, and the route leading into the nearby mountains. The city is first experienced under military occupation during the SeeD field examination, when most of its civilian functions are inaccessible and the party moves rapidly toward the communications tower. On later visits, Dollet becomes a normal town with card players, shops, the Queen of Cards sidequest, and several small optional events. The pub contains the private room used in card-related activities, while the Nautilus provides the local Junk Shop. Its combination of exam-era combat and peaceful revisits makes it one of the clearest examples of the world changing after a major story event.
