Grandidi Forest Highlands
Overview
Grandidi Forest Highlands is the plateau above the forest region near Chocobo Sanctuary. After all four distant sightings have been witnessed, UFO? can be encountered here as a normal battle target rather than as a passing background object. The fight is relatively unusual and awards an Aegis Amulet, while defeating the craft allows the final PuPu encounter to occur near Balamb. The plateau must be reached by landing the Ragnarok on suitable high ground. Outside the quest, the area is part of Esthar's northern wilderness and contains regional random encounters.
